Its beginnings were associated with the production of sports footwear, carried out by the Fengdeng company, which operated mainly as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) producer. The breakthrough moment was 1991, when the company’s chairman, Xu Jingnan, decided to change the name to “PEAK” and initiated an ambitious “six-step” internationalization strategy for the brand. This early decision for a strategic and multi-faceted approach to building a global presence, encompassing elements such as name, trademark, quality standards (confirmed by obtaining ISO9001 certification as early as 1995), capital and market, distinguished PEAK from many other manufacturers and became the foundation of its later success on the international arena.
